GHS students work hard to raise money for camp

June has been a great month for raising money to send kids to Young Life's Lake Champion Camp!

With two fundraisers under our belts, there's more than $4,400 set aside for scholarships. AND our third and final fundraiser is right around the corner on Saturday, June 23. (By the way, if you live in Holland Hills and need your mailbox painted, we've got just the kids for the job!)

Thanks, again, to Hope Thrift, who devoted 100 percent of their sales on Saturday June 2 to support Goochland kids who want to go camp! The kids sorted deliveries, washed dishes and moved what must have been tons of stuff.

And thanks to Taylor's Exxon on Sandy Hook for letting the kids wash cars for HOURS last Saturday!

and thanks to the littlest Young Life fan! Such a big truck for such a little guy.

Do You Have a Dirty Car?

Don't wash it!

Instead, bring it by the Goochland Young Life Car Wash on Saturday, June 16 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Taylors' Exxon, 1924 Sandy Hook Road in Goochland.

All the money raised at the car wash will go to support Goochland kids who want to go to Young Life’s Lake Champion Camp this July!
